From April 04 to 11, 2020.

Accustomed to this spring stay in the Swiss jura, the Swiss team of the online gallery invites its artists to a new one-week stay (eight days and seven nights), from April 04 to 11, 2020 in the Franches Montagnes.

If our previous stay in 2019 was located in Côte aux Fées (Swiss municipality of the canton of Neuchâtel) at 1135 meters above sea level, we will always stay in an old Jurassic house completely restored, this time in the small town of Sonvilier near from the Chaux-d’Abel plateau (1,040 m above sea level), Canton of Berne and Lake Biel.
Days of walks with sketchbooks, days of easel paintings are planned, depending on the weather.
Of course, a financial contribution is requested from our artists regarding accommodation and food. Transport is at everyone’s expense.

To find out the terms of this stay, join us using the contact form, four places are available on the date of publication of this article.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen (Bis bald Tschüss….) / Best regards.

Les Koronin, online gallery in Contemporary Art, France and Switzerlan

As Artémis Irenäus & myself often say: “when one of our artists is absent, something is missing from the online gallery”.
After a short year of absence to attend to additional plastic activities, the artist Dzyan (Eric Jarque) is back with us, with a new painted artistic production, & “workshop kitchen recipes”.

One of our pleasures of working with Dzyan is the passion to go and draw from the depths of our workshops, from the meetings made between artists – whether French, Swiss or others – useful instructions, old knowledge of materials techniques.

Black oil at Dzyan, way of charcoal cooking in a wood-fired oven at Artémis Irenäus, cliff chalk & pigments at Isabelle, Marie Isabelle & me, mixture of dance and plastic technique at Stéphanie, Dzyan is one of these visual artists for which the work begins by choosing the medium that will receive the image, but also & above all by this pleasure, this healthy curiosity of preparing the raw materials oneself which will give us satisfaction of the order & instinct.

It’s a real pleasure for the online gallery to welcome Dzyan.

To learn more about the works presented here, visit the Dzyan page, do not hesitate.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen (Bis bald Tschüss….) / Best regards.

Les Koronin, online gallery in Contemporary Art, France and Switzerland

Barely put online in our five sites (French, German, English, Russian and Portuguese), the three drawings by Artémis Irenäus, called “Portrait of a woman in social networks, 1, 2 and 3” found takers : a collector of Barcelona Art.

This sale concerns three drawings by Artémis Irenäus, made with acrylic paint on watercolor paper, using a sketchless drawing technique taught to my students in the preparatory class for the competitive exams of the major art schools.
Since 2007, Artémis Irenäus has made it its own, sublimating it.

Artémis Irenäus therefore went to Barcelona on October 17, at the invitation of the collector, to present them to him. It then went back to Paris, before returning to Chur, in Switzerland.

About this artistic technique:

The principle of the said technique is to go straight to the essential of the observed subject, a good old sketching technique made with faded paint, the lights having to be made of white paper. For shadows, even yellow paint can be used!
The difficulty lies in the fact that, as in watercolor, error is not allowed. The slightest brushstroke will be seen. Absolute mastery of the gesture is therefore required.

Les Koronin, online gallery in Contemporary Art, France and Switzerland

Continuing our debate on the essential role of the Art Gallery in the exchange and the sensitive sharing between the artist and the gallery.

Would we witness the displacement of the values on which an exchange was based, and again a sharing of sensitive affinities where beauty, spirit, transcendence have their share in artistic creativity?
The classical art gallery, the online art gallery would they be destabilized in their original foundations by the profusion of salons and fairs of Art which are multiplied in villages and villages?

No.
Non and no. Because most of these fairs and exhibitions host among other art galleries, including ephemera.

The strength of a gallery like ours is precisely not to be ephemeral, to be localizable day and night in the Web, to constitute not a fair or a lounge but a showcase constantly lit. It creates a traceability that avoids the artist to “be born and disappear, time of an exhibition” because, unlike many of our “competitors”, the gallery Les Koronin does not erase the pages of the exhibiting artists whose contribution  would not be up to date anymore. Each page is kept preciously, archived, ready to be released, reactivated.

At the Art Gallery Les Koronin, the address does not change according to any need, the urgency to show quickly and often does not exist.  The notion of “self-service” is banned. The online art gallery uses tools of another kind, those of the taste of discovery and the pleasure of the eye, that of contemplation and the pleasure of “sharing”, because the concept of profitability is foreign to it , having regard to the fact that the Art Gallery receives no remuneration on the sale of works of art.

Thus, the online art gallery, free from the constraints of management and therefore the profitability of a local receiving public remains the step always visible and indispensable for the knowledge and dissemination of art and artists. This active link with creation can undergo adaptations attributable to changes in society, it maintains and defends its vocation of “sharing” and “smuggler” with the public, initiated or not.

If the evolution of the art market and societal relays less and less responds to this essential role, many art galleries persist and are authoritative, especially in Switzerland to pursue a collaborative work with the artist, of trust between this one, the gallerist and the art lover. It is up to the gallerist and the salon to do the right thing to arouse good curiosity by confronting the most diverse works, reflections of their time.

To be continued…

Mit freundlichen Grüßen (Bis bald Tschüss….) / Best regards.

Les Koronin, online gallery in Contemporary Art, France and Switzerland

From the beginning, your online gallery in Contemporary Art had placed its communication module with you (its email address) under Gmail. At the time, the rules of the protection of your data were still subject to “interpretations” according to the countries in and out of Europe – remember that the Koronin Art Gallery is Franco-Swiss.

If creating email from the Gmail Art Gallery first appeared wise considering the features offered by Gmail, in front of his competitors, quality side of receiving / sending emails, on the protection side of your data, we learned that Google constantly analyzes the content of messages, especially for Gmail.

For a few weeks now, the online art gallery has decided to stop using Google’s messaging to open a communication space, the whole is now based in Switzerland, under the provider Mail.Ch.
Of course, we had to revise all our modules of the five platforms of the site: French, German, English, Russian and Portuguese. Which sometimes took a little time, I agree. But everything is now ready and when you write to us, you receive a reply from the email address “Die Koronen.ch”.

To honor the remarkable work done by Konstanz on WordPress computer programming, a part of the nomenclatures of Email’s bottom has been left in the German language.
In these same nomenclatures, new links to our Facebook pages are also available, so that you can reach us as easily as possible and thus continue with you an advantageous proximity.
